You’ll take a step back in time as you experience the magnificent tribute to the birthplace of golf and its rich traditions. Located on the shores of Lake Lewisville, The Tribute features traditional Scottish golf elements, including wind-swept dunes, native grasses and challenging water hazards. Designed by Trip Davis, each hole of The Tribute is reminiscent of some of the greatest golf holes in the world, including such courses as St. Andrews, Troon and Carnoustie. Directions: From I-35: Take Hwy. 121 (Tollway) northeast to Main Street in The Colony (FM 423). Turn left (north) on Main Street (FM 423). Continue North for 5 miles. Turn left on Lebanon Road. Continue on Lebanon Road 3 miles to the clubhouse.
Designed by Tripp Davis and 12-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Leonard, Old American Golf Club is representative of classic American golf. From naturally formed bunkers and native grasses, to strategically designed holes that leverage varying wind conditions, the architects endeavored to create a course with exquisite balance.
