Best of the Best Multi Vendor Endcap (BOB RACK)
Control your valuable end cap space and earn more real profits with GSC’s Warehouse Delivered Snack Program. The Best of the Best program offers only the top selling items in eight different GSC snack categories. The multi-vendor concept ensures that only the best selling product from various vendors is available to the consumer. An estimated 18 to 20 turns per year will drastically reduce stale or out-of-date products at store level. Gross profit margins should exceed typical DSD margins by 14 to 18 points. The rack only requires nine square feet of prime floor space. Average gross profit earned per square foot per year is estimated at $796 to $948! That is an annual gross profit yield of $7,164 to $8,532 per year. Each rack placed will qualify for a $100 placement allowance the first year, and a $200 placement allowance the second year. A one year agreement must be signed by the retailer stating that: The rack will be placed at one of the front end caps of the store; the rack will remain on the end cap for a period of not less than one year; the rack will remain stocked per the GSC plan-o-gram; all product on the rack will be purchased from GSC. GSC personnel will check for compliance with the plan-o-gram. The product selection will be updated annually. Parrot-Ice is a premium frozen fruit beverage program with several flavors and cups available through GSC. Parrot-Ice has a purchase or lease purchase program. Gross profit estimates are $125.92 x 5 cases per month x 12 months = $7,555.20 annual.
Parrot-Ice, say it quickly and it sounds like Paradise. It immediately evokes images of a divine destination featuring lush tropics, and yes, exotic frozen fruit beverages. That’s exactly what Parrot-Ice had in mind when we created the “Escape to Paradise” Caribbean cabana display. The cabana is made of rugged construction with 3” bamboo poles and an authentic vacuum formed roof. With most vendors allowing you an average of 28% return on their product, you can get an average return of 48% on Turkey Creek Farm products. Display racks are available for Turkey Creek snacks. There are several different flavors of pork skins along with a Turkey Creek Hot Sauce. The Turkey Creek product shelf life is 90 days.

Hampton Farms is the original inventor of the Cajun Creole flavored in-shell peanuts. These hot and spicy flavored nuts serve the rapidly growing market for spicy foods. Multiple Peg Toys
GSC offers a unique and excellent way to offer the consumer a rotating toy program. The way the program works is that the GSC will rotate a different toy for the same item number and description. For example: “201 rotating toy” might be a race car this time and a toy soldier the next time. This offers your customers different toys on an on-going basis. In doing so, the peg section will remain the same because the size of the card remains the same. Even though there is a different toy inside, the price will remain the same, the retail remains the same, and the product will have the same UPC number. Dairy Program
A milk program is available at GSC. The milk program offers milk in gallons, half-gallons and pints. Also available are sour cream, half and half, whipping cream, cheeses, butter, and margarine. Most dairy prices fluctuate monthly and can be found in the MarketPulse Weekly Bulletin.

Bread Program
The GSC Bread Program consists of 24-ounce white and wheat bread, hamburger and hot dog buns, King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls and tortillas. The bread products are formulated by Harris Bakery and are stored and delivered frozen in case packs of six each. The hot dog buns are packed nine to a case. The shelf life thawed is 10 to 14 days. Due to the inconsistency of delivery by many bread companies, bread is the number one out-of-stock item in a convenience store. Purchasing bread and milk through GSC will lower your retail price, increase your profit dollars, and increase your sales by reducing out-of-stocks.

GSC offers the Rich’s C-Store Bakery Program. The more appetizing the better because 76% of donuts are purchased on impulse. Rich’s Bakery Program offers great taste, jumbo size, and an appetizing appearance. The program offers 40 to 50% margins even with stales. Allow for 15% to cover spoils and cost of icing. As a result, payback on equipment investment usually occurs in less than 12 months. Annual estimated gross profit is $15,000.96. The program consists of donuts and sweet goods with two options of preparation: 1. Donuts and sweet goods are thawed, finished baking, and iced. 2. Donuts and sweet goods are thawed and served, being pre-cooked and iced.

The Journey
Back in 1976, a Los Angeles candy distributor had an idea for a jelly bean made with natural flavorings. So he called up the candy makers at Jelly Belly (formerly known as Herman Goelitz Candy Co.) who had a reputation for making the very best candies. Creating "true-to-life" flavors was, well, a natural evolution. The candy makers cooked up a recipe for a new kind of jelly bean -- intensely flavored throughout, with natural ingredients for flavoring whenever possible. In 1976, the first eight Jelly Belly flavors were born: Very Cherry, Lemon, Cream Soda, Tangerine, Green Apple, Root Beer, Grape, and Licorice. Funny enough they are still some of the most popular flavors made.
The rise to the top, or, what a long, tasty trip it's "bean." A furor arose when people tasted Jelly Belly beans for the first time. Wow, what flavor! Soon Jelly Belly became the favorite candy of President Ronald Reagan, who made the beans a staple in the Oval Office and on Air Force One. (President Reagan's passion for jelly beans inspired Blueberry flavor, which was cooked up so he could serve red, white, and blue beans at his inaugural parties.) Diplomats and world leaders clamored to have Jelly Belly beans. And guess what? Jelly Belly was also the first jelly bean in outer space. Free floating, weightless Jelly Belly beans were sent on the space shuttle Challenger in 1983 as a presidential surprise for the astronauts. Coincidentally, it was the same mission that boasted another bit of history -- the first American female astronaut, Sally Ride.

Sunclassics®
2007 Sunglass Programs:
A. GSC offers a 36ct Sunclassics Eiffel Tower counter rack and an 84ct Sunclassics Eiffel Tower floor rack.

Navajo Manufacturing will offer the retailer a rebate for each new placement made by GSC; $150.00 for the 36 ct. Sunclassics Eiffel Tower counter and $300.00 for the 84 ct. Sunclassics Eiffel Tower floor rack. A new placement is defined as a customer who is not currently purchasing Navajo Manufacturing Sunclassics brand sunglasses. The rebate will be mailed to the retailer by GSC within 60 days after the rack(s) are shipped to the store(s).

Existing sunglasses in the store(s) should be marked down 50% of retail for 30 days or until the new rack(s) arrive at the store. When the rack(s) arrive, credit will be issued for all remaining sunglasses at 50% of retail. GSC will pick up the glasses for return to Navajo Manufacturing.

Retailer agrees to maintain the rack(s) in the stores for a period of not less than two (2) years and to place only Navajo Manufacturing Sunclassics product on the rack(s).

Customer agrees to take one Navajo sunglass promotion per store, per quarter, for the first year. Promotions are 12-count displays.

Customer agrees to a distribution of one of the above rack(s) with product to their store(s) from GSC
B. GSC also offers a Euro Sunclassics $7.99 retail sunglass rack.

Navajo Manufacturing will offer the retailer two free 12-count Sunclassics displays for each new placement of the 84-count Euro Sunclassics display made through GSC. A new placement is defined as a customer who is not currently purchasing Navajo Manufacturing Sunclassics brand sunglasses. The 12-count Sunclassics displays will be shipped to the retailer by GSC along with the 84-count Euro Sunclassics display.

Retailer agrees to maintain the rack(s) for a period of not less than one (1) year and to place only Navajo Manufacturing Sunclassics product on the rack(s).

Customer agrees to distribution of the following rack with product to their store(s) from GS
C. New Sunglass ordering system:
A new ordering system has been designed for the Sunclassics Sunglass Program. All of the sunglass item numbers that are on the current racks have been discontinued and replaced with the five new items listed below. The new GSC numbers below will replace all SKU’s that have been discontinued. There are only five SKU’s to order from. Each item number will be a ship-pack of six assorted sunglasses, all having the same retail value and UPC number.
